With a career spanning three decades in the automotive sector, Anurag brings a wealth of expertise in sales, marketing, strategy, and business development. He has held leadership roles at top national and global automotive companies, including his previous positions as Vice President of Strategy & International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles and President & Managing Director at Ford India. Based in Gurugram, Anurag will spearhead the company’s strategic growth initiatives and fortify the brand’s core values of diversity, experience, innovation, and community.
Rajeev Chaba, who has been instrumental in establishing the MG brand in India, will continue to play a key role in the company. Under Rajeev’s leadership, MG Motor India has risen to become one of the country’s leading car brands, setting benchmarks for innovation and disruption across various categories. Rajeev’s leadership was pivotal in launching game-changing products that resonated with Indian consumers and redefined industry standards. His commitment to philanthropy, diversity, and transparency has also shaped the brand’s core values. Rajeev will remain involved with the company as a member of the Joint Steering Committee, advising management and shareholders.
