Mumbai: Atrangii and Ullu OTT have announced the appointment of Kalpan Desai as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With almost 20 years of cross-sector experience, Desai’s HR leadership will be pivotal in aligning talent strategies with business ambitions across both platforms.
Desai previously served as Vice President – Human Resources at Sony Pictures Networks, where he led talent strategy and people initiatives. Over his career, he has held senior HR leadership roles at Viacom18, GroupM, and Jana Small Finance Bank, where he drove digital HR transformations, developed leadership pipelines, and built high-performance cultures.
In his new role, Desai will spearhead HR transformation efforts, strengthen leadership and talent development, and foster a performance-driven, people-first culture. He will also play a key role in elevating the platforms’ employer brand and embedding HR strategies into broader business objectives.
