Jakarta: Ogilvy Indonesia has announced the elevation of Kapil Arora as its new Group Chief Executive Officer. Arora was previously serving as Chief Operating Officer at the agency and steps into the role as part of Ogilvy’s leadership succession and growth strategy in the Indonesian market.
Announcing the development, Kapil Arora shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group CEO at Ogilvy Indonesia!”
With over two decades of experience across advertising, marketing, and business strategy, Arora brings deep expertise in modern marketing, integrated communications, brand management, and digital transformation. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Ogilvy Indonesia’s strategic capabilities and drive sustained business growth.
Prior to his tenure at Ogilvy Indonesia, Arora has worked with several prominent organisations including 82point5, Ogilvy & Mather India, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd, and Enterprise Nexus. He began his career in 1999 as an Account Executive at Enterprise Nexus.
Over the years, Arora has developed a strong reputation for leadership across areas such as business planning, management consulting, online marketing, strategic planning, integrated marketing, advertising, marketing communications, social media marketing, and corporate branding.
In his new role as Group CEO, Arora will be responsible for overseeing Ogilvy Indonesia’s overall operations, strengthening client partnerships, and accelerating the agency’s growth agenda in a rapidly evolving marketing and communications landscape.
