Mumbai: Kavita Khandelwal has joined ZEE News as Regional Head, marking a new chapter in her media leadership career. She moves to ZEE News after a five-year stint at Republic World, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer.
Announcing the development on her LinkedIn handle, Khandelwal shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Regional Head at ZEE News! Five memorable years at Republic Media come to an end. Grateful for the learning, friendships, and support from my Boss, my colleagues and HR. As I step into a new journey with Zee News, I carry these experiences forward with pride and gratitude.”
Khandelwal was associated with Republic World since 2021 and played a key role in driving marketing and brand initiatives during her tenure. Her move to ZEE News comes at a time when the network continues to strengthen its regional leadership and market presence.
Prior to Republic World, Khandelwal has worked with several leading media organisations, including TV Today Network, Dainik Bhaskar Group, and Dainik Jagran. She began her career in 2010 as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Dainik Jagran.
With extensive experience across print and broadcast media, Khandelwal brings strong expertise in media planning, advertising, brand management, marketing strategy, product management, entertainment marketing, market research, account management, and integrated marketing communications.
