Mumbai: Global consumer health company Kenvue has named Madhav Nayak as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening its leadership bench at a time when APAC remains a key growth priority for the organisation.
Nayak joins Kenvue from Yum! Brands, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for KFC Asia. In that role, he led brand strategy and regional commercial performance across multiple markets, overseeing end-to-end responsibilities spanning marketing planning, communications, menu and product innovation, media strategy, and digital commerce.
Commenting on his appointment, Nayak said the role presents an opportunity to shape the next phase of growth for some of the world’s most recognisable consumer health brands. He highlighted Johnson’s, Neutrogena, Listerine, Aveeno and Band-Aid among the portfolio he will now help steward across what he described as a “large, fast-growing and strategically important region.” Nayak added that he looks forward to collaborating closely with Kenvue teams across APAC and globally.
Nayak brings with him deep experience across FMCG, technology platforms and quick-service restaurants. He began his career at Unilever as a brand manager and progressed to the role of Senior Global Marketing Director. During his tenure, he handled global brand, communication and innovation mandates with accountability for growth, profitability, market share and brand health. His work included launching premium-tier innovations across major Asian and European markets, driving incremental market-share gains, exceeding sales targets and delivering meaningful gross-margin expansion. He also served as Southeast Asia e-commerce lead for Unilever’s Home Care portfolio.
Following Unilever, Nayak moved to Meta, where he took on the role of APAC Client Partnerships Leader for Consumer Goods, working closely with leading brands on digital transformation and growth strategies. He later transitioned to Yum! Brands, expanding his remit to include regional commercial leadership alongside brand stewardship.
At Kenvue, Nayak will lead the APAC marketing organisation, with a mandate to drive brand relevance, accelerate growth and strengthen consumer connections across the company’s diverse portfolio in the region.
