Bengaluru: Infosys has elevated Kisha Gupta to the position of Global Head of Brand, marking a significant leadership move within the IT services major’s global marketing and brand stewardship function. Gupta previously served as Associate Vice President at the company and announced the development through a LinkedIn post.
Gupta has been with Infosys since 2012, when she joined as Relationship Manager – Global Academic Relations. Over the past decade, she has steadily taken on broader responsibilities across brand, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, progressing through multiple leadership roles within the organisation.
In her post, Gupta described the appointment as a moment of deep personal and professional gratitude, acknowledging the role played by mentors, colleagues, leadership teams, and the company’s founders in shaping her journey. She also paid tribute to her predecessor, noting that she intends to build on an existing legacy of brand stewardship while carrying the responsibility forward with “care, creativity, and heart.”
With over 18 years of experience, Gupta brings a diverse background spanning corporate marketing, academic relations, and business analysis. Before joining Infosys, she worked as Head of Marketing and Communications at Tablitz Marketing and earlier served as a Senior Business Analyst at Evalueserve.
The elevation comes at a time when global technology companies are sharpening their brand narratives amid intensifying competition, evolving client expectations, and rapid shifts in digital transformation. As Global Head of Brand, Kisha Gupta will be responsible for shaping Infosys’ brand strategy across markets, strengthening its positioning with clients, talent, and partners worldwide.
Industry observers view the appointment as a signal of Infosys’ focus on internal leadership development and long-term brand continuity, as the company looks to reinforce its identity in a complex and fast-changing global business environment.
