Three-film campaign is targeted to the youth and will be active across digital and social platforms.

Kotak Securities says #BroZero brokerage if you’re under 30 years of age

Kotak Securities Ltd has launched a three-film campaign to promote its flagship pricing plan Trade Free Youth (TFY). The Trade Free Youth plan offers zero brokerage on all trades, be it delivery, intraday or F&O, for individuals under 30 years of age.

In the first film, two colleagues are discussing the bonus they received, to which one of them says “Bro, Zero”. They then talk about the brokerage on the Kotak Neo app, to which his friend replies, “Bro, Zero”. The second film has two friends talking about one of them going on a diet and how much weight he has lost, while in the third film friends are discussing how often they have been successful in making plans for a holiday with friends and both times, the answers are, “Bro, Zero”, however when each friend asks what the brokerage on the Kotak App is, the answer is, Zero.

Kotak Securities has a range of innovative plans with Trade Free, Trade Free Youth and Trade free Pro. Jaideep Hansraj, MD & CEO, Kotak Securities, said, “Kotak Securities started a revamp of its pricing and platform in 2021 and today I am proud to say that our Kotak Neo trading app combined with the power of our discount broking plans is a powerful combination for all investors and traders. The campaign is targeted to the younger generation and will be active across all major digital and social platforms like Google, Discovery, Facebook, Instagram and select OTT platforms.

“Increasingly, youth in the country are gravitating towards online trading and looking for platforms that will give them an edge through technology and research insights. With this in mind, we have been continuously working towards simplifying the entry into stock markets for the younger generation. From our conversations with the young investors, we also understood that brokerage is a big barrier and that is how Trade Free Youth was conceptualised. It is a new age plan that has very nominal subscription free and brokerage across segments is absolutely zero,” said Iti Mehrotra, Chief Marketing Officer, Kotak Securities Ltd.

“To further our efforts, we launched Kotak Neo Trading App that offers a completely new trading experience to our customers. 75+ pc of our customer orders are now placed on Kotak Neo, making it the right time to take this unmatched combination of pricing and platform to customers via this #BroZero campaign,” she added.
