Chennai: Balaji Telefims owned ALT Digital Media Entertainment Ltd. has partnered with Vaishnave Mediaa Works owned by veteran South Indian Actor and Television Producer Kutty Padmini for producing two web series for its OTT Platform.
Vashnavee Media Works is one of the most happening Production House that is involved in TV Content creation in HSM and Regional Market. The Company is currently producing the prime time fiction show Krishnadasi on Colors that is being aired at 10:30 PM (Monday to Friday) since January 2016. It is also producing period and costume shows like Ramanujar and Thenpandi Singam for couple of regional language channels.

The two web series that will be produced in Tamil language will be part of the Original offerings from ALT Digitals’s OTT Platform. The web series was conceptualized to target youth consumption who are the highest sampling audience.
While the first web series comprising 17 parts of 20 mins each was named as Mayathirai, the second series with 15 parts of 20 mins is yet to be titled.
ALT Digital made a Strategic foray into digital entertainment to capitalise on the high-potential digital space in India and it has roped in many digital content creators from various languages to create original content for its OTT platform.
