Hyderabad: Maa TV Fiction head N Siva Satyanarayana (aka) Satya has ended his five years long stint with Telugu GEC Maa TV to pursue his film dreams. He was instrumental in lifting the channel’s fiction viewership to greater extent with his strong sense of Judging the Fiction formats.
He also played important role in transforming Maa TV with top rated originals Telugu fiction shows, which was heavily depending on whole a lot of Hindi dubbing content. During his stint with Maa TV, he had pulling up Maa TV’s Fiction GRP from 85 to 345 GRPs that speaks about his expertise and knowledge.
Before joining Maa TV in 2011, he worked for Zee Telugu as fiction head and prior to that he had directed many films and serials.
In the year 1983, he stepped into his world of passion, Films, and got a golden opportunity to work as an assistant to the great, legendary director of South Indian film industry Mr. Bharathiraja. The journey with the legend continued both in Tamil and Telugu.
Later, his first directorial venture was made with the movie “ Prema Sikhram” (Anokha Premyudh in Hindi) in which the lead actors Prashanth, Mamta Kulkarni and Arun Pandian were introduced to Tollywood. This movie continued by two more movies “Alibaba Adbutha Deepam” starring star comedian Ali, Yuva rani, Subhasri and “Ayanagaru” starring the real couple Srikantha and Ooha.
After the success with the big screen, he brought his aptitude into small screen and proved his extraordinary directorial skill in the most watched and audience acclaimed mega serials like “Vidhi”, “Andham”, “Sangarshana”, “Padma Vyuham”, “Sneha Aathma Kathalu” for Eenadu Television and “Karthika Deepam”, “Gangothri” for Gemini.
His enormous talent and relentless hardwork lead him to grow into Fiction Head for one of the most famous televisions, Zee Telugu, in the year 2009. During this tenure, he contributed his efforts to the success of the mega serials, “Chinna Kodalu”, “Radha Kalyanam”, “Pasupu Kumkuma” and several other successful serials.
In the year of 2011, he Joined Maa TV as Fiction Head. His stupendous work has produced results in many serials like “Misamma”, “Kanchana Ganga”, “Ashta Chamma”, “Ramulamma”, “Srinivas Kalyanam”, “Sashi Rekha Parinayam”, “Seetha Mahalakshmi” which were considered to be most successful and contributed to the high ratings of the channel.
His most successful journey with MAA TV has come to an end for him to flourish success with his undying passion for Films. His wonderful work on the big screen is expected very soon.
