Hyderabad : After the successful completion of its Game Show MEK, Maa TV has geared up to launch another non-fiction proper in its program chart, with the 8th season of the Singing reality show “Super Singer” from today (18th August) onwards.
The popular singing reality TV show on MAA TV has completed seven successful seasons. Now, the leading Telugu GEC is planning to rock the viewers with the upcoming season with many new budding talents. The channel has kick-started the auditions for Super Singer 8 from August 4th onwards.
The auditions was held in five different places in the state. The auditions for Super Singer 8 are being held at Kakinada on 4th August, Vijayawada on August 5, Tirupathi on August 7, Ananthpura on August 9 and Hyderabad on August 10.
Maa TV sources states that the audition held in 5 different places evoked excellent response from the public and the total turnaround was estimated above 5000 participants.
Ace musician MM Keeravani and popular playback singer Chitra will be the judges for the eight season of Super Singer. Both girls and boys of age group between 16 and 22 can participate in the auditions. The Judges will be short listing a final participants of 18 contestants who will be competing in the studio floor to clinch the Super singer title for the 8th season.
Maa TV Super Singer will be aired at 9.30PM on every Monday and Tuesday and the channel had roped in the main sponsor Idea Mobiles with powered by sponsors Ramraj Cottons, Durga Ghee and Libero.
