New Delhi: Adobe has announced the appointment of industry veteran Manoj Kohli to its International Advisory Board (IAB), reinforcing its commitment to helping global enterprises navigate transformation in the AI era.
Founded in 2021, the Adobe IAB brings together globally experienced leaders to guide customers through periods of rapid technological and business change. Kohli’s appointment is expected to strengthen the board’s strategic depth, particularly as organisations increasingly adopt AI and digital experience technologies to drive innovation and growth.
With over 47 years of global leadership experience spanning telecommunications, technology, renewable energy and digital innovation, Kohli brings extensive operational expertise and strategic insight. He currently serves as Chairman and Managing Partner at MK Knowledge LLP, advising CEOs and founders across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the United States. He is also actively involved in mentoring and teaching leadership and strategy at leading global business schools.

Kohli previously served as Country Head of SoftBank India, where he supported over $15 billion in investments across AI-focused portfolio companies. He worked closely with leadership teams at companies including Ola, OYO, Zomato, Lenskart, Meesho, Flipkart, Swiggy and Delhivery, guiding them through rapid growth, market expansion and operational transformation.
Earlier in his career, Kohli spent over a decade as Managing Director and CEO of Bharti Airtel, where he led operations across 20 countries. Under his leadership, Airtel expanded its customer base from two million to over 400 million, emerging as one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. He also played a key role in building platforms such as Airtel TV and Indus Towers, contributing significantly to India’s digital infrastructure.
By leveraging the expertise of its advisory board, Adobe aims to provide a platform for strategic dialogue, shared learning and actionable insights, enabling business leaders to capitalise on emerging opportunities and translate strategy into sustained growth.
