Meta launches Gaming Accelerator in Partnership with Top VC Firms to Empower Indian Game Developers

New Delhi: In a move set to catalyse India’s booming gaming ecosystem, Meta has announced the launch of the Meta Gaming Accelerator, an incubator program designed to identify, train, and mentor small and medium-sized gaming developers and studios across the country. The announcement was made at the Meta Marketing Summit – Gaming Edition, attended by leading brands, VC funds, and game developers.

Partnering with four of India’s top Venture Capital firms—Bitkraft Ventures, Kalaari Capital, Lumikai Fund, and Elevation Capital—Meta aims to accelerate the growth trajectory of the Indian gaming sector by combining expert guidance with access to cutting-edge AI tools, strategic mentorship, and monetisation insights.

“India’s gaming community is a hotbed of creativity and innovation, but to unlock its full potential, we need to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. That’s why we’re launching the Meta Gaming Accelerator – to provide Indian gaming developers with access to cutting-edge ad tools, expert mentorship, and critical guidance that they need to scale their businesses and take on the world,” said Arun Srinivas, Managing Director and Head, Meta (India). “By combining expert sessions from Meta with structured guidance from the country’s top Venture Capital firms, we hope to not just empower local success stories but also create a launchpad for Indian gaming companies to scale globally.”

In its three-month launch phase, the program will support 20–30 emerging developers and studios, offering a structured curriculum focused on user acquisition, ad monetisation, AI-driven game development, and international scaling.

The curriculum includes:

  • Sessions on ad monetisation and platform integration using Meta Ads and Audience Network
  • Deep dives into player acquisition strategies and campaign optimisation
  • Workshops on Llama and other AI-powered tools for storytelling, game design, and personalisation
  • Business and funding mentorship led by participating VC firms and industry experts
  • Strategic support for international market expansion

The program will culminate in a Demo Day, where participating studios will present their innovations and outcomes to investors, Meta leadership, and industry stakeholders. High-performing teams will receive platform-level amplification and may unlock additional funding opportunities via Meta’s ecosystem.
