Mumbai: Footwear retailer Metro Brands has appointed Harshvardhan Chauhan as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Senior Management Personnel, reinforcing its leadership bench as the company prepares for its next phase of brand and business expansion. His appointment took effect on February 23, 2026.
Chauhan will report directly to CEO Nissan Joseph and is expected to collaborate closely with the senior leadership team on strategic brand direction, marketing transformation, and growth initiatives across the company’s portfolio.
He brings more than 18 years of cross-sector marketing and business leadership experience, spanning retail, fashion and lifestyle, grocery, and e-commerce. Over his career, Chauhan has held leadership roles at organisations including Bharat YEF, Trident Group, RPSG, DLF Shopping Malls, ShopClues, Godrej Group, Reckitt Benckiser, and Accenture, building expertise across both consumer brands and digital commerce environments.
Academically, Chauhan holds an MBA in Strategy and Business Management from Symbiosis, Pune, and has completed the Accelerated General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
The leadership addition aligns with Metro Brands’ broader strategy to strengthen its senior management layer as it advances into its next stage of brand development and market growth.
