Mumbai: MiQ, a global programmatic media company, has launched its proprietary AI-powered platform MiQ Sigma in India, marking a significant step in strengthening its technology-driven capabilities in the country’s rapidly evolving advertising ecosystem.
The launch was announced at a special event in Mumbai, where the company introduced MiQ Sigma as a solution designed to help marketers navigate the increasingly complex multi-platform media landscape. With commercial operations in India for more than six years, MiQ has steadily expanded its presence in the programmatic advertising space, and the new platform aims to further enhance campaign planning, activation, and measurement across channels.
Operating in more than 20 countries globally, MiQ continues to focus on long-term growth in India by addressing challenges related to fragmentation and complexity within the programmatic ecosystem. MiQ Sigma is designed to bring greater clarity and consistency to multi-platform activations, particularly for campaigns with high operational complexity.
The platform also builds on MiQ’s strategic data partnership with Samba TV, which enables advanced cross-screen television insights and analytics. Together, the collaboration and the new platform are intended to support unified planning, activation, and measurement capabilities for advertisers.
The India launch was led by Gurman Hundal, Global CEO and Co-founder of MiQ, and Varun Mohan, Chief Commercial Officer India at MiQ, who shared insights into the opportunities emerging from India’s dynamic media ecosystem. Powered by advanced AI infrastructure, MiQ Sigma is designed to help Indian brands drive stronger media outcomes while expanding their reach in global markets.
The event also featured a live demonstration of MiQ Sigma, highlighting how the platform consolidates fragmented data, media, and performance signals into a unified decision-support environment. The demo showcased how the technology can help advertisers and agencies plan, optimise, and measure campaigns across multiple markets and platforms.
“With MiQ Sigma, our focus is on enabling better decisions for Indian brands in an increasingly complex yet opportune market. India represents one of the most dynamic advertising markets globally, and Sigma is built to scale with the market and adapt to India’s unique diversity across language, content and consumption to deliver superior and measurable media outcomes to brands,” said Gurman Hundal, Global CEO & Co-founder, MiQ.
“Our ambition in India is to simplify decision-making in an increasingly complex media environment. MiQ Sigma is built to help advertisers move beyond fragmented planning and toward more connected, accountable outcomes across screens,” added Varun Mohan, Chief Commercial Officer India, MiQ.
With the launch of MiQ Sigma, MiQ aims to reinforce its long-term commitment to India and position itself as a leading partner for complex, multi-platform programmatic activations, combining advanced technology with deep industry expertise.
