Mumbai: Motorola Mobility has announced the elevation of Shivam Ranjan as the Global Head of Brand, Motorola, marking a significant step in the company’s global marketing evolution. In his new role, Ranjan will lead global brand strategy and oversee end-to-end marketing communication for Motorola’s portfolio of products, software, and services worldwide.
Prior to this, Ranjan served as Head of Marketing for the APAC region, where he played a key role in driving Motorola’s brand growth and visibility across diverse markets.
Reflecting on his journey, Ranjan shared, “Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading marketing for India and then the broader APAC region. Each chapter has been a remarkable journey—full of learning, growth, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to both the brand and the business. I am deeply grateful to my mentor and manager, Prashanth Mani, for his unwavering trust, invaluable guidance, and constant encouragement. His leadership in APAC has been instrumental in shaping my professional path.”

Ranjan began his career as a software engineer at Infosys and later held roles at Fiberlink, Arshiya International, and Kelvin Cold Chain Logistics. His prior leadership roles include serving as Senior Manager – Marketing at Samsung Electronics, where he crafted 360-degree communication strategies for product and service launches, and Head of Brand and Marketing at Airtel Payments Bank, where he led multi-platform brand campaigns and consumer engagement initiatives.
With a diverse and dynamic marketing background across telecom, tech, and finance, Ranjan’s global appointment signals Motorola’s commitment to deepening brand resonance and innovation-led storytelling across international markets.
