Mumbai: Mount Everest Breweries Ltd. (MEBL) has announced the appointment of Vinod Babu G as its new Chief Executive Officer. The move signals MEBL’s continued focus on building iconic beer brands, expanding into new markets, and accelerating its premiumization strategy.
With over 19 years of leadership experience in the FMCG and alcoholic beverages industry, Vinod brings a sharp commercial acumen and deep expertise in the premium segment. He has previously held key roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev India and SABMiller India, where he spearheaded major brand launches, regional expansions, and high-performing commercial teams.

Vinod has been twice awarded the BUP Fanatic Award, a recognition of his outstanding performance and strategic contribution. Notably, he played a key role in shaping trade marketing for AB InBev India, expanding its presence in South India, Goa, and even international markets like Nepal.
His appointment underscores MEBL’s ambition to become a consumer-first, innovation-led brewery, with a strong emphasis on building agile, inclusive, and performance-driven teams for the future of India’s beer landscape.
