News Broadcasters Federation (NBF) has sought a ‘Comprehensive Stimulus Package for News Broadcasters’ to overcome the impact of the economic and financial challenges posed by the outbreak of Covid19.
The NBF has requested the I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar for an appointment for an e-meeting via video conference in this week to bring his attention the most pressing issues the industry is facing due to lockdown for combating spread of Covid-19. The meeting will be led by Arnab Goswami, President, NBF and Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief, Republic TV.

We, at News Broadcasters Federation, India’s largest industry association representing the combined interests of over 300 TV news channels, request you for an appointment with you for an e-meeting via video conference, during this week as per your convenience and availability, to bring to your attention the most pressing issues the industry is facing due to lockdown for combating spread of Covid-19.
News Broadcasters Federation is the most-democratic and largest congregation of news broadcasters, from across the length and breadth of the country, taking information and news to the doorsteps of citizens from Gandhi Nagar to Guwahati, and Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
The agenda of the meeting is to discuss and resolve the extraordinary situation the members of News Broadcasters Federation are facing due to the lockdown measures to contain spread of COVID19, while discharging the essential service of taking news and information to the doorsteps Of 100 crore Indians, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gandhi Nagar to Guwahati.
