Mumbai: NDTV has announced the appointment of Tarini Kumar as Senior Executive Editor of its flagship English news channel, NDTV 24×7. In this pivotal leadership role, Kumar will helm the channel’s output operations, overseeing daily news flow, editorial planning, programming strategy, and maintaining high standards of content delivery across all time bands.
With close to two decades of experience in broadcast journalism, Tarini Kumar brings deep editorial acumen and a robust understanding of newsroom dynamics. She spent over 15 years at India Today TV, where she held a range of editorial roles—from programming producer to Executive Editor—contributing to major national coverage, especially during elections and high-stakes programming events.
She also served as Deputy News Editor at CNN-News18, where she led primetime programming and played a key role in shaping the channel’s editorial narrative.
