Mumbai: NDTV has relaunched its acclaimed series Walk the Talk with Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, bringing back a format that transforms conversations into journeys. The show steps out of the studio, offering unfiltered, unscripted dialogues that reveal the person behind the public persona.
“No studio. No script. Just a walk that brings out the person behind the public image — their thoughts, reflections, and moments that made them who they are,” the press release stated. Walk the Talk allows stories to unfold naturally, staying true to its legacy of engaging with world leaders, change-makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and sports icons.
The series returns reimagined for a digital, social, and mobile-first audience, balancing authenticity with accessibility. The inaugural episode features globally respected economic thinker Ruchir Sharma, exploring the heartland of Bihar — from villages and riverbanks to small towns — with Kanwal.
“It’s a visual and emotional paradox — where capital markets meet crunchy makhana, and Wall Street wisdom meets the raw pulse of rural India,” the release said. The episode captures a unique dialogue, offering insights not only about Bihar but through it, reflecting India’s ongoing transformation.

Rahul Kanwal commented, “When you walk with someone, you see the world through their eyes. Walk the Talk is about that shared view — where conversation becomes discovery.”
With this revival, NDTV aims to redefine storytelling by blending journalism with purpose and conversation with context — one walk, one story, one truth at a time.
Walk the Talk with Rahul Kanwal premieres tonight.
