Mumbai: Network18 has appointed Shobit Arora as the National Head of Connected TV for its leading channels, CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, and CNBC Awaaz. Arora brings with him over 14 years of experience in the media and technology sectors, specializing in connected TV platforms.
Prior to joining Network18 Media and Investments, Arora served as Deputy General Manager (DGM) for Connected TV at India Today. Throughout his career, he has held key roles at prominent organizations, including Oracle and BTVI, showcasing his expertise in driving digital transformation and audience engagement.
Arora began his professional journey in 2008 with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times Group) as an Assistant Manager, where he spent nine years honing his skills in the media and advertising domains.
In his new role at Network18, Arora will spearhead the Connected TV strategy across the network’s premier news channels, focusing on enhancing viewer experiences and driving growth in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape.
