Bangalore: The Ad Club Bangalore’s bold new initiative, Neuron Nights, kicked off its debut edition with a bang on July 30, drawing in over 76 creative professionals, brand leaders, and advertising enthusiasts for an evening dedicated to celebrating the soul of powerful storytelling. Hosted at 1522 Adda in Cambridge Layout, the event marked a fresh chapter in the city’s advertising culture—one where real stories behind iconic campaigns take center stage.
More than just another portfolio night, Neuron Nights offered attendees a ringside view into the creative neurons that fire behind breakthrough campaigns. With three standout showcases, the evening spotlighted work that resonated across generations and platforms.
Three Campaigns, Three Revelations:
Freeflow Ideas took the audience through the rebranding journey of 75-year-old Cothas Coffee, while Wavemaker showcased how MTR has sustained its legacy for over a century through culturally relevant storytelling. Stark Communications rounded out the showcase with a powerful presentation on how AI helped elevate the Kerala Government’s communication, blending technology with humanity.
Each agency presentation was followed by a candid Q&A, sparking rare insights, bold perspectives, and collaborative conversations among the crowd.
“Neuron Nights is about celebrating what’s next while honoring what’s endured,” said Laeeq Ali, President of The Ad Club Bangalore. “When brands like Cothas and MTR continue to make cultural waves after decades, it shows the enduring power of ideas. This platform honors that journey while inspiring what comes next.”
“Neuron Nights offers a ringside view of how neurons fire inside the minds of amazing creatives. When great work does the talking, we invite the creators to talk about how they made it happen,” added Rajesh Vorkady, Founder & CEO of Veeville and part of the curatorial team.
“Neuron Nights organised by AdClub Bangalore, was an incredibly inspiring evening, filled with powerful ad showcases and creative storytelling from some of the best agencies in Bangalore/India. Events like this offer a rare and valuable glimpse into the world of advertising, and I’m definitely looking forward to many more,” said Suresh Kuruvadi, Founder, Said Media.
“Neuron Nights is vital for celebrating the foundational elements of effective advertising. It’s a great forum for recognizing strategy and creativity that drive successful campaigns, while inspiring professionals to learn from impactful work,” added Ganesh Ram, Founder, Freeflow Ideas.
Beyond the Stage:
What truly set Neuron Nights apart was its commitment to community and authenticity. The air buzzed with lively post-showcase conversations, spontaneous networking over drinks, and genuine excitement to create meaningful work. This wasn’t just an event—it was a movement.
What’s Next:
Buoyed by its debut success, Neuron Nights is poised to become a recurring fixture in India’s creative calendar. The Ad Club Bangalore plans to continue spotlighting campaigns that don’t just win awards—but win hearts and drive meaningful impact.
