Nickelodeon ramps up the festive fervour with new programming line up

Mumbai: Nickelodeon kids’ entertainment franchise is all set to gift the youngest members of the family with more than one reason to celebrate. Enthralling campaigns with a lot of cool goodies, a whole new line up of exciting episodes, amazing new shows and blockbuster made for television movies are all set to make this Festive Season a season full of new stories, fun and magic.

Speaking about the high decibel festive plans for Nickelodeon, Nina Elavia Jaipuria – Hindi Mass Entertainment & Kids TV Network at Viacom18 said “At Nickelodeon we have set the highest bar on innovation and engagement for kids. This festive season we continue to create priceless and memorable moments for kids with creative campaigns and diverse content offerings that is sure to see Nickelodeon and Nicktoons forge an everlasting bond with our young viewers.”

“Philips Air Purifier presents RUDRA Magic Mania” on Nickelodeon.

Kickstarting the festive bonanza with a dash of magic will be “Philips Air Purifier presents RUDRA Magic Mania” on Nickelodeon. Spreading magic into the lives of children, Rudra will give kids a chance to win exciting gifts through the festivities. All that children need to do is watch Rudra every Mon- Fri at 7:25 pm until the 16th of November  and get a chance to win some cool gifts to light up their Diwali. Up for grabs will be Smart Phones, Smart Watches, Boom Boxes, fitness trackers and much more.

Rudra’s Magic Mania will also be brought to life with a well-rounded marketing campaign acrosson air, cinema, ambient and social media. While On-Air will seean elaborate cross channel TV presence, social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram will be buzzing with posts, gifs and other engaging content, all spreading the magic of Rudra. This apart targeted and extensive presence in malls across Mumbai and Delhi across high footfall days will ensure that Rudra’s magic mania is at its pinnacle.  We will also have Rudra going Boom ChikChik Boom across theatres along with mega Diwali Blockbuster releases like Thugs of Hindostan and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Festive fun will extend into Happy hours with SONIC. Coming from the thought that there is a happy hour for adults, however kids have no such experience. Drumming up the celebrations and excitement and making evening hours happy for kids, Sonic Happy Hours will allow kids to win cool goodies like the Hover Board and gadgets like the Laptops, Smart Watches, tablets and Earpods amongst others. Kids can get their hands on the cool gifts every day during the festive period by watching Sonic, Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 7.30 pm by giving missed calls on numbers that flash on the screen while they watch their favourite Sonic gang toons like Shiva, GattuBattu, PakdamPakdai, Keymon Ache etc

The Happy Hours will be extensively promoted across the kids’ network with an expansive cross channel tv plan across GEC’s, regional, movies and music channels.  Extending the concept of Happy Hours, kids will get to experience the same through the weekend on the brands social handles with a specially curated happy hours block. The block will be peppered with fun games like online treasure hunt, spot and win on the website, games on social media where kids can engage with the brand and win exciting prizes. Furthermore, Sonic Happy Hours will have a life on ground through innovative on-ground partnerships with brands like Fun City across 16 cities, Kidzaniain Mumbai, Delhi, Smaaash in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru amongst others where kids can enjoy happy hours over the weekends this festive season.

Upping the immersive experience on SONIC will be the only new SONIC festive packaging. Being future ready and relevant to the emerging social media trends, SONIC in its new avatar will use a lot of fun emojis and expressions thus appealing to digital age kids and bringing alive its positioning of being a reflection of kids and their real selves.

While kids are busy with festivities and their favourite shows, the Nicktoons will be busy creating some entertaining moments for kids will all new shows line-up. Below is a roundup of the amazing new shows and episodes that Nickelodeon has in store for kids this festive season.

Get ready to enjoy the escapades of the super cool duo and BFF’s Motu Patlu their new fun and exciting stories. Kids are set for a laugh-riot with all new episodes of Gattu Battu, Pakdam Pakdai and Shiva only on Sonic with its all new packaging.

Viewers will all be treated with new shows like Wissper and Top Wing along with new episodes of Masha’s Spooky Stories and Team Umizoomi on Nick Jr.

This apart a host of fun made for television movies of Nicktoons Motu Patlu, Shiva, Gattu Battu and Pakdam Pakdai is all set to up the fun and entertainment quotient for kids this festive season and ensure that the year ends on a high.
