Chennai: Nippon Paint India has elevated Aashok Ranganathan to the role of Head of Influencer Marketing, expanding his mandate to include loyalty programmes, influencer community development, the secondary ecosystem, and CSR initiatives.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Ranganathan said he was excited to begin a new chapter in his journey with the company. He also expressed gratitude to his mentor, Mark Titus, acknowledging his guidance at various stages of his career.
Ranganathan was previously serving as Assistant General Manager – Emerging Channels, a role he took on in January 2024. He has been associated with Nippon Paint India since December 2021 and has played a key role in strengthening emerging and alternate go-to-market channels.
Before joining Nippon Paint India, Ranganathan worked with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and CavinKare, gaining early-career exposure across FMCG and beverage categories.
An alumnus of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Ranganathan holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management with a specialisation in Marketing.
A seasoned strategist, he brings extensive experience in launching new brands and products across modern trade, e-commerce, and emerging channels. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including beverages, dairy, paints, and allied categories.
In his new role, Ranganathan is expected to further strengthen Nippon Paint India’s influencer-led growth strategy, deepen ecosystem partnerships, and drive long-term brand loyalty in an increasingly creator-driven marketplace.
