SINGAPORE: Ogury, the global leader in persona-based advertising, has announced the appointment of Nicolas Bidon as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1. In this role, Bidon will spearhead Ogury’s next phase of innovation, driving global operations and advancing the company’s end-to-end, cross-channel advertising platform.
A highly respected leader in the adtech ecosystem, Bidon brings more than two decades of international leadership experience across digital media, AI-driven advertising, and data-led transformation. He most recently served as Global CEO of GroupM Nexus, a network of over 11,000 digital experts under WPP. Since joining WPP in 2012, he has held multiple senior leadership roles — including Managing Director of Xaxis UK, Global CEO of plista, and Global CEO of Xaxis — where he oversaw the company’s transformation into an outcome-driven media organisation powered by proprietary AI.
Before WPP, Bidon held leadership roles at Yahoo and enterprise software companies Microstrategy and Watchfire, the latter later acquired by IBM. Known for driving innovation, scaling global operations, and fostering data-driven execution, Bidon now steps into a pivotal role as Ogury accelerates its global growth.
“With major disruptions everywhere you look, the advertising ecosystem stands at a crossroads and is poised for reinvention,” said Nicolas Bidon. “Ogury’s unique blend of data, powerful technology, and innovative culture position it perfectly to turn this complexity into a competitive advantage for its clients. I’m honoured to lead such a talented global team and to partner with Jean Canzoneri and the Board to accelerate Ogury’s next phase of growth.”
Jean Canzoneri, Co-founder and Chairman of Ogury, added, “Ogury’s differentiation stems from multiple strengths, from our proprietary, persona-based data model to our fully integrated, cross-channel platform. Together, they enable advertisers to transform complex consumer behaviours into actionable intelligence at scale. Nicolas’s extensive global experience and proven ability to expand fast-growing adtech companies make him the ideal leader to further elevate Ogury’s impact across the industry.”
As CEO, Bidon will lead Ogury’s global strategy, business development, and product innovation across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. London-based, he succeeds Geoffroy Martin, who served as CEO since January 2023.
Earlier this year, Ogury unveiled Ogury One, a unified advertising platform that connects audience insights, media planning, and omnichannel activation within a single ecosystem. With AI-powered integrations enabling seamless use with agency tools and preferred platforms, Ogury One helps advertisers convert audience data into scalable personas and activate them across in-app, web, mobile, and CTV environments. The platform marks a major milestone in Ogury’s mission to deliver precision and performance at scale.
