One Asia Creative Awards: 23 Indian finalists in the race for metal, Leo Burnett leads with 17

BBDO, Brandcare, Landor & Fitch, Ogilvy and Subhajit Mukherjee also among finalists.

One Asia Creative Awards: 23 Indian finalists in the race for metal, Leo Burnett leads with 17

Organisers of the One Asia Creative Awards, the regional awards program of The One Club for Creativity, have revealed that 23 finalists from India are in the race for metal in its 2023 edition, the most from any country.

Leo Burnett India accounts for 17 of these finalists.

They include six finalists with Wavemaker India Mumbai for #BringBack2011 for Oreo, in Integrated, PR, Experiential, Social Media, Creative Effectiveness and Branded Entertainment categories.

Leo Burnett has five finalists with Prodigious Mumbai for #Airtel175, in the Branded Entertainment (2);     Interactive, Online & Mobile;   Moving Image Craft & Production;      and Creative Use of Data categories.

Three of the agency’s finalists are for Pepsico Lay’s ‘Smart Farm’, two in Creative Use of Data and one in the Integrated category.

In the Green Awards category, the agency’s entry for Pepsico Lay’s ‘The Biochar Project’ is among finalists.

Two of Leo Burnett’s finalists are for Burger King’s ‘The Great Celebrity Hack’, one each in

The Branded Entertainment and Experiential & Immersive categories.

BBDO India Mumbai has two finalists, both for ‘See the Signs #ShareTheLoad’ for P&G India’s Ariel. These are in the Creative Effectiveness and Integrated categories.

In the Non-profit category, Brandcare Medical Advertising and Consultancy Mumbai has a finalist (with Dr. Suresh Saravdekar and Amit Gavathe) for Keshav Srushtee ‘Gram Health Locket’.

Landor & Fitch Mumbai is among finalists with Full’r ‘Eat Like No One’s Watching’, in the Brand Collateral category.

Ogilvy Gurgaon has a finalist in Coca-Cola India ‘Stump Cam’, in Branded Entertainment.

Subhajit Mukherjee (with Wunderman Thompson Kolkata) has a finalist for Exide Industries’ ‘India Moves on Exide – The Moving Canvas’, in the Moving Image Craft & Production (Music) category.

India is followed by Philippines with 20 finalists, Australia and Singapore with 19 each, Japan with 16, mainland China with 13, Thailand with eight, South Korea with seven, Hong Kong SAR-China with five, Taiwan-China with four, Vietnam with three, and Indonesia with two.

Winners are to be announced online on December 12, 2023.
