New Delhi: Panasonic Life Solutions India, a diversified technology company, today announced the strategic integration of its Industrial Devices (INDD) and Energy Solutions (ESD) divisions into a consolidated entity – Panasonic Industry & Energy India (PIDEIN). The move is designed to enhance organizational agility, foster synergies for an improved customer experience, drive operational excellence, and align with the company’s long-term growth strategy for India.
The newly created PIDEIN will be led by Narayan Kumar, appointed as Chief Business Officer (CBO). Previously serving as Divisional Director of Panasonic Industrial Devices Division (INDD), Kumar brings extensive experience across B2B domains, a strategic outlook, and a strong customer-centric approach. He will report to Tadashi Chiba, MD and CEO, Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND).

Panasonic’s Industry Division (INDD) in India has specialized in advanced electronic and electromechanical components, including passives, sensors, relays, microswitches, BLDC motors, and automation products such as servo systems, PLCs, HMIs, and sensing solutions.
Meanwhile, the Energy Division (ESD) focused on sustainable energy solutions for India’s green transition, offering lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy storage systems, and energy management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
