Parimatch has signed a long-term partnership with Manchester United, becoming the club’s official betting partner across Asia and the MENA region. The company is looking to tap into United’s enormous fan base in these markets, where millions follow the club every week.
The deal quietly came into effect on August 17, during United’s opening Premier League match against Arsenal. Since then, Parimatch’s logo has been appearing on the LED boards around Old Trafford during home fixtures.
Manchester United commercial director Mark Armstrong said, “We are pleased to welcome Parimatch as a new partner of Manchester United in parts of Asia and MENA. Parimatch has an impressive record of working with leading sports organisations, and we look forward to building a successful relationship that engages our fans in these key regions.”
Parimatch says the partnership is more than just branding. The company plans to host giveaways, organise fan events and offer VIP match experiences for supporters in Asia and MENA, hoping to make the connection between fans and the club a little more personal.
Parimatch CEO Sergey Portnov said, “Manchester United represents everything we stand for – ambition, excellence, and an uncompromising drive to succeed. Together with Manchester United, we’re not just reaching fans – we’re creating experiences that will define how football partnerships should work.”
The bookmaker already has a bit of Premier League history behind it, having worked with Everton, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Brighton, and Chelsea. One of its better-known moments came in 2021 when Parimatch used its Chelsea partnership to promote humanitarian projects after the club’s owner was sanctioned.
With new rules set to remove gambling sponsors from Premier League shirts by 2026, Parimatch’s move towards in-stadium and digital branding feels smart. It’s a quieter kind of visibility, but probably one that will matter more in the seasons to come.
