The association reinforces Philips’ commitment to delivering hair styling solutions designed specifically for Indian hair types and Indian conditions.
The announcement coincides with the launch of a new digital film titled ‘Designed for Indian Hair’, conceptualised in collaboration with creative agency The Germ. Set in the imaginative world of the Indian Hair Court, the film puts everyday hair aggressors such as humidity, heat, hard water, and genetics on trial for the damage they cause. The narrative drives home a clear message: effective hair styling in India requires solutions that strike the right balance between performance and hair health.
The film showcases Philips’ advanced hair styling portfolio, including the Hair Straightening Brush, Hydrating Hair Dryer, One Stroke Straightener, and 2-in-1 Airstyler, with Rasha Thadani featuring as the Philips Hair Expert. Her role represents a new generation of informed consumers who seek high performance, ease of use, and healthier styling outcomes. Through this campaign, Philips aims to deepen its engagement with Gen Z and young millennials, aligning with evolving beauty expectations that prioritise authenticity, credibility, and thoughtful innovation.
