New Delhi: Pizza Hut India, a leading QSR brand under US-based Yum! Brands, has announced the appointment of Manish Guptaa as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In his expanded role, Manish will be responsible for leading all marketing and brand-building efforts, with a focused mandate to strengthen Pizza Hut’s positioning in India’s fast-evolving food and consumer landscape.
While he assumes the CMO role, Manish will also continue to oversee the Digital & Technology vertical in the interim until a successor is named.
Strategic Shift Toward Craveability and Cultural Relevance
In this new capacity, Manish will lead Pizza Hut India’s marketing agenda with an emphasis on building cultural resonance, expanding the brand’s appeal among younger consumers, and steering Pizza Hut toward the next phase of its growth. His strategy is expected to center on a “back-to-core” approach—anchored in value, craveable innovation, and distinctive storytelling.

Manish joined Pizza Hut in 2019, and in his previous role as Chief Digital & Technology Officer, he led significant digital transformation initiatives. These included the scaling of digital commerce, development of a robust performance marketing engine, and integration of data-driven strategies to enhance consumer engagement.
His leadership has played a pivotal role in modernizing Pizza Hut’s digital ecosystem and setting the foundation for the brand’s renewed positioning.
