Mumbai: Pocket FM has unlocked AI-powered storytelling in India, putting advanced tools directly in the hands of writers. With its AI Creator Suite, the platform enables creators to transform text into a fully produced audio series within minutes. In its pilot phase alone, over 30,000 AI audio series have already gone live, with the number expected to double by year-end.
The AI voices, developed in collaboration with ElevenLabs, capture diverse genres such as drama, romance, comedy, and fantasy—offering speed without compromising quality. Stories that once required weeks of production are now delivered 10x faster, giving writers unprecedented opportunities to scale their storytelling.

Prateek Dixit, Co-founder, Pocket Entertainment, said, “For decades, writers have struggled to find the right platform, resources, or recognition for their stories. Countless powerful narratives went unheard, limited by the absence of opportunities to scale. With AI-powered audio series, that barrier no longer exists. Writers can now bring their stories to life instantly, share them across geographies, and connect with audiences worldwide. When human imagination combines with AI innovation, the possibilities multiply, with stories becoming richer, more immersive, and truly global. What we are witnessing is not just a content shift but the rise of a new writer economy. And our bet is clear — the future of storytelling belongs to creators, and AI is their ultimate enabler.”
Beyond professional creators, Pocket FM is also enabling listeners to transition into writers. Each month, over 33,000 Indian users are publishing their own audio series through the AI Creator Suite, with many turning passion into meaningful economic opportunities. Top writers are projected to cross ₹10 lakh in annual earnings, with hit shows like King of Dragon, Darshi: A Rebirth Story, and Divya Yoddha Daksh already resonating widely.
Nitesh Kumar Dayama, writer of King of Dragon, shared, “Before Pocket FM, writing was just a passion I squeezed in after work, with no real hope that it could change my life. I didn’t have the money to hire editors, or the network to pitch to publishers. Now, I suddenly had a production team in my pocket, and my words could become an audio series in hours. When I saw millions of listeners engaging with my story on Pocket FM, and then realised I could actually earn from it, it felt like I had achieved a breakthrough as a professional writer.”
Looking ahead, Pocket FM plans to roll out the AI Creator Suite in multiple Indian languages and add 200,000 new AI audio series over the next year. To foster the ecosystem, it runs monthly contests with prize pools up to ₹15 lakh, along with contracts, training, and revenue-sharing opportunities for top-performing creators.
