Mumbai: Primus Partners, a management consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Garima Babbar as Executive Director within its global Education, Employability, and Entrepreneurship (EEE) Practice. In this strategic role, she will collaborate closely with Charu Malhotra, Co-Founder and Managing Director, to further strengthen the firm’s engagement in the education and skills ecosystem.
Babbar brings with her more than two decades of cross-sectoral experience, having worked across government, industry, and development sectors. Prior to joining Primus Partners, she was Country Head – Education and Skills at Adobe Inc., where she conceptualized and led high-impact initiatives in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and various state governments. Notably, she played a pivotal role in national-level programs that advanced digital creativity skills aligned with India’s National Education Policy.
Her professional journey includes leadership roles at the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Microsoft India, and KPMG, where she spearheaded large-scale program implementation, policy advisory, and stakeholder collaboration across the education and skilling landscape.

Babbar has been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including the Skills Champion Award by NSDC, the Adobe Game Changer Award, and formal commendations from NCERT, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and the Indian Army. She has also represented India at multiple international forums focused on community colleges, workforce readiness, and education innovation.
Her appointment marks a significant step in Primus Partners’ continued commitment to building deep capabilities in the education, digital skills, and policy advisory space—especially at a time when AI, digital transformation, and employability are at the heart of India’s future growth story.
