Mumbai: Procter & Gamble (P&G) has announced a major leadership transition, naming Freddy Bharucha as the next Chief Executive Officer of its global beauty division effective December 1, 2025. He will succeed R. Alex Keith, who is set to retire in February 2026 after a long career with the company.
Bharucha has been with P&G for 36 years and brings wide-ranging experience across markets and product categories. He began his career in 1995 as an Assistant Brand Manager for India Laundry and has since held senior leadership roles in multiple geographies. Over the past two decades, he has built deep expertise in the beauty segment, having led skincare and personal care businesses in China and overseen haircare marketing and operations in North America and Asia. Since October 2023, he has been serving as President of Global Personal Care and North America Beauty Operations. In his new role, he will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, and will oversee P&G’s global beauty portfolio.
The company also announced further executive moves alongside Bharucha’s elevation. Artur “Litar” Litarowicz, currently Senior Vice President of P&G Beauty Europe, has been appointed President of P&G Personal Care, where he will lead both the global and North American personal care businesses. Sue Kyung Lee will continue to head the company’s global skincare operations, including its luxury brand SK-II.
These appointments are part of a wider succession plan at P&G, as current Chief Operating Officer Shailesh Jejurikar is set to take over from longtime executive Jon Moeller as Chief Executive Officer of Procter & Gamble on January 1, 2026. The series of moves underscores the company’s focus on ensuring leadership continuity and strengthening its core beauty and personal care categories, which remain central to P&G’s long-term growth strategy.
