Mumbai: Publicis Production has elevated Varun Shah to a global leadership role, appointing him as Global Creative Transformation Lead, in addition to his existing responsibilities in India. The move signals the network’s continued focus on scaling its production capabilities across markets through a blend of creativity and technology.
In his expanded role, Shah will steer the next phase of production transformation for the company, with a mandate centred on delivering “scaled craft” by leveraging creator ecosystems and tech-enabled workflows. His responsibilities will extend across key international markets including the US, UK, and France, with execution supported by teams based in Canada, Colombia, Budapest, and India.
Shah currently serves as Managing Partner and Head of India for Prodigious and Content Factory—Publicis Groupe’s specialised production units—where he has been instrumental in strengthening integrated production capabilities and driving efficiency-led creative output.
His elevation comes at a time when global networks are increasingly reimagining production models to meet the demands of always-on content and platform-first storytelling.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, Shah was associated with Dharma 2.0, the branded content and production arm of Dharma Productions, where he worked as Executive Producer. During his tenure, he focused on building content-led collaborations and delivering integrated marketing initiatives for brands.
With this expanded global mandate, Shah is expected to play a key role in aligning creative production strategies across markets, while advancing Publicis Production’s transformation agenda in an increasingly tech-driven content ecosystem.
