Chennai : The leading production house in South Television market owned by the veteran actress and South Indian queen of soaps Radikaa Sarathkumar is brazing up to launch a new “Mega Comedy Show” titled “Ossthi” on Sun TV to further strengthen its Saturday Night Time Band.
Comedy Shows are always a hit among Indian audience and the success of shows like “Comedy Nights with Kapil” on Colors, “Jabardast” on ETV and “Cinema Cirima” on Mazhavil Manorama are the testimony of the fact and earlier, even Sun TV too, had a most successful comedy show “Asathapovadhu Yaaru” running in the same time band on Sundays and no doubt that Radaan is making a strategic move by trying to capitalize on the existing trends.
“Ossthi” will be of an out and out comedy skits performed by different teams on various concepts. There will be five different team of participants, each and every week they will be given the task of performing with different comedy skits of their choice and creativity, the best among them will be shortlisted by the Judges and rewarded with titles like Best Team, Best Individual performer etc…
The judge panel of the show will have the veteran actor and director, who is also known for his special skills in screenplay writing with extraordinary sense of humour Mr.”K. Bagyaraj” and a beautiful actress Ms. Nandita who acted as Heroin in films like “Attakathi”, “Idharkkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara” and “Mundasupatti”
“Ossthi” will commence on 6th of September and will be aired in Saturday’s late night time-band from 10PM to 11PM.
