Rahul Mathew, Sambit Mohanty and Anupama Ramaswamy named to ONE Asia 2025 Jury

Esteemed creatives from DDB Mudra, McCann, and Havas join top APAC talent to shape this year’s most influential creative awards.

Mumbai: India’s advertising and creative leadership continues to earn global recognition, with three top names from the industry selected to serve on the jury for the 2025 ONE Asia Creative Awards, the Asia-Pacific arm of the globally acclaimed One Club for Creativity.

Rahul Mathew (Chief Creative Officer & Executive Director, DDB Mudra Group), Sambit Mohanty (EVP, Creative Head, McCann Worldgroup), and Anupama Ramaswamy (Chief Creative Officer & Joint Managing Director, Havas Creative India) will represent India on the panel. The trio joins an elite jury pool drawn from 12 countries across APAC to judge the region’s most innovative and impactful creative work.

The ONE Asia Awards, now a benchmark for excellence in the region, mirror the rigorous standards of The One Club’s renowned One Show and ADC Annual Awards. Each year, the event assembles a jury of distinguished creative professionals, brand leaders, and emerging talent to evaluate submissions.

For the first time, in-person judging will be hosted in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2025—continuing the tradition of rotating locations to celebrate the unique creative cultures within APAC. Previous editions were held in Manila and Shanghai.

“At ONE Asia, we believe diversity means bringing together a rich mix of perspectives—across generations, disciplines, and ways of thinking,” said Season Zhou, APAC Director of Growth & Partnerships, The One Club for Creativity. “This approach strengthens our jury and reflects the richness of our region’s creative landscape.”

Key Developments in 2025 Edition

ONE Asia 2025 introduces several significant updates:

  • New disciplines: Creative Use of AI, Media, and OOH, Print & Digital Craft.

  • Cultural Impact returns as a key category.

  • Revisions made to Creative Effectiveness, Gaming, and Use of Humor/Drama.

  • Launch of the ONE Asia Marketer of the Year—an honorary award for the top marketer or team behind the most awarded work. This recognition is not open for entry and will be based on cumulative performance.

Winners at ONE Asia will contribute points to Campaign Brief Asia Rankings, ONE Asia Creative Rankings, and The One Club’s Global Creative Rankings, offering significant visibility to both individuals and agencies.

Entry Deadlines & Branding Innovation

Submissions for the awards are now open, with a regular deadline on July 28, extended deadline on August 25, and final deadline on September 12. Finalists will be announced in the fall, with winners revealed in December.

In line with this year’s South Korea partnership, the 2025 campaign branding has been designed by StudioK110, a Seoul-based agency. Titled “Can You Handle the Heat?”, the creative draws from the bold, spicy character of Korean cuisine to symbolize the competitive intensity and creative flair the awards demand.

As APAC’s creative landscape continues to evolve, India’s presence on the ONE Asia jury signals both recognition of its talent pool and the region’s broader creative leadership on the global stage.
