Republic Media Network has announce a further bolstering of its broadcast management team in the midst of its mega wave of continued expansion. Mohit Dhamne has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 1st December 2023. Further, S. Sundaram has been been elevated to Director, Strategy for the Network effective 1st December 2023.
Mohit Dhamne, 43, has been part of the Republic Media Network since its inception in 2016. On his journey with Republic, Dhamne has previously successfully delivered wearing the hats of Head of Finance and Company Secretary in the initial years. In 2021, Dhamne was elevated as EVP – Finance- a role which he has executed impeccably through the first phase of growth for the Broadcast operations of Republic Media Network into new language markets.
Mohit Dhamne’s new role as CFO comes alongside Republic Media Network’s initiation of second phase of expansion of its news operations. The second phase of growth has been announced with the vision to take Republic into new languages and areas of operation across broadcast and digital. The first phase of Republic’s growth has been defined by leadership across languages with Republic TV in English, Republic Bharat in Hindi, Republic Bangla in Bengali and Republic Kannada in the Karnataka news market.

Mohit, is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University and completed his Executive MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Dhamne is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary. He brings along with him a rich experience of 18 years working across various industries such as Pharma, Automobiles and Hospitality, prior to his association with Republic Media Network.
