New Delhi: Rikant Pittie, CEO & Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Delhi State for the 2025-26 term. This marks a historic moment as Pittie becomes the first co-founder of a unicorn company to hold the esteemed position of Chairman of CII Delhi State.
As the CEO & Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, one of India’s largest online travel tech platforms, Rikant Pittie has played a crucial role in transforming the travel and tourism industry. Under his leadership, the company has achieved remarkable growth, with a firm focus on customer satisfaction and technological innovation, making EaseMyTrip a leader in the travel-tech space.
Pittie’s appointment as Chairman signals a transformative shift for CII Delhi, with a renewed focus on fostering innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and driving youth-led economic growth. With more than 16 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Pittie brings a forward-thinking and strategic vision to the table, aiming to shape the council’s initiatives and set new benchmarks for business development and policy advocacy in the region.

Previously serving as Vice Chairman of CII Delhi State, Rikant was actively engaged with key stakeholders, including state and national governments, and played a significant role in representing Delhi’s industries on global platforms. He was also instrumental in the establishment of a Joint Task Force on Real Estate in collaboration with the Hon’ble LG of NCT of Delhi.
In his new role as Chairman, Pittie will continue to focus on advancing business growth, strengthening policy advocacy, driving digital transformation, and enhancing industry-government collaboration. He also aims to elevate Delhi’s tourism sector through large-scale initiatives, positioning the city as a global tourism and cultural hub.
