RL Commercial partners with SI to accelerate Rugby League’s digital growth

Mumbai: RL Commercial has announced a new partnership with SI (formerly Sportz Interactive) to enhance Rugby League’s digital content capabilities through AI-driven automated clipping technology.

The collaboration will introduce advanced automated content tools across Rugby League competitions, enabling faster production of match highlights and significantly expanding the volume of shareable content across digital platforms. By integrating SI’s AI-powered clipping technology, RL Commercial will accelerate the speed, scale and consistency of real-time highlights and social media content.

SI, a global sports technology and digital fan engagement specialist, supports more than 150 international clients with enterprise-grade, data-integrated solutions designed to drive engagement and revenue. Its automated clipping tool leverages AI-driven detection, tagging and rendering to generate broadcast-quality clips within moments of key on-field action.

The deployment will support content creation across the Super League, Challenge Cup and the wider Rugby League calendar, enabling RL Commercial and Super League clubs to deliver more dynamic, timely and platform-specific content to fans.

The move builds on RL Commercial’s broader digital transformation strategy, which has included recent upgrades to the Our League app, enhancements to the Super League+ platform, and relaunches of the Predictor and Fantasy League games.
