Mumbai: Rolls-Royce has announced the appointment of Sashi Mukundan as Executive Vice President, Transformation India. Mukundan will join the company in October and will lead government and business relations activities in India, supporting the accelerated growth of Rolls-Royce’s operations across the country.
For nearly a century, Rolls-Royce has been a key part of India’s industrial journey, combining engineering excellence with strong local manufacturing capabilities and partnerships. India remains a critically important partner country for the Group, which is committed to supporting the Indian Government’s vision of self-reliance by 2047. Rolls-Royce already plays a crucial role in powering, protecting, and connecting India through its capabilities in civil aerospace, defence, and energy sectors, serving the Indian Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Army, major airlines, and critical infrastructure including railways, airports, hospitals, data centres, and industry.
