Mumbai: The gripping thriller Ronth is all set to make its OTT debut on JioHotstar from July 22, offering viewers a taut, edge-of-the-seat experience. Written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shahi Kabir, Ronth brings together a stellar ensemble cast and a suspenseful storyline that unfolds over one fateful night.
Produced by Vineet Jain, Rathish Ambat, Ranjith E.V.M., and Jojo Jose under the banners of Junglee Pictures and Festival Cinemas, the film stars Dileesh Pothan and Roshan Mathew in powerful lead roles. The ensemble cast also includes Arun Cherukavil, Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Krisha Kurup, Lakshmi Menon, Sudhi Koppa, Rajesh Madhavan, and Kochouseph Chittilappilly, bringing depth and realism to this intense police drama.
Ronth follows two policemen on night patrol duty and the unexpected turn of events that transpire during their shift. It delves into their encounters, the human stories they intersect with, and the trials of their profession — creating a layered and emotionally charged narrative.
The film’s visuals are crafted by cinematographer Manesh Madhavan, with Praveen Manglath in charge of editing and Anil Johnson composing the evocative background score.
“Ronth” will stream in five languages—Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi—making it accessible to audiences across India.
