Mumbai: RR Kabel has announced a significant expansion of its Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) portfolio, marking its entry into the kitchen appliances segment while strengthening its air cooler range under its premium brand RR Signature.
As part of this strategic move, the company has introduced a new range of kitchen appliances including mixer grinders, electric cooktops—featuring both induction and infra-red variants—and hand blenders. This foray is aimed at deepening the brand’s presence in Indian households and expanding beyond its traditional electrical offerings.
The induction and infra-red cooktops segment has been witnessing strong demand, driven by evolving global dynamics impacting LPG pricing and availability. Consumers are increasingly shifting towards electric cooking solutions that offer improved energy efficiency, precision, and safety. Reinforcing its ‘Aapke Kaam Ki Baat’ proposition, RR Signature is offering best-in-class warranties across its product range, focusing on reliability and consumer confidence.
Looking ahead, RR Kabel plans to further expand its kitchen appliances portfolio in FY26-27 by introducing additional categories, underlining its long-term commitment to innovation and comprehensive home solutions.
In parallel, the company has strengthened its air cooler portfolio with the launch of industrial (semi-commercial) air coolers. Designed with larger tank capacities and superior air throw, these products are gaining traction among both commercial users and households seeking high-performance cooling solutions amid rising temperatures. This segment is expected to emerge as a key growth driver within RR Kabel’s FMEG business.
