Mumbai : In an era of extreme dialogs driven content, Creating a dialog less silent show is challenging task and it seems Firework Productions has mastered in the art of making silent comedy show as it is gearing up for the launch of the 3rd season of “Gutur Gu” on SAB TV
After their successful first attempt, journey of season 2 on SAB TV was a rather short one as the channel has dropped it abruptly in the middle. However, the upcoming season 3 on the same channel promises to be more fun filled rib tickling entertainer.
The show is in pre production stage as the production house is in the process of finalizing the cast and crew for the new season. However, sources confirm that the majority of cast from season one has been roped into the upcoming season too. Whereas, Jay Thakkar has been replaced by Harsh Mittal.
Furthermore, the new addition to the cast is renowned Marathi actress Rashmi Gupta. When we spoke to her she said: “Yes, I am a part of Gutur Gu and I am excited to be a part of it. I will be seen in a glamorous character.”
Producer B P Singh of Firework Production has confirmed the development but chose to keep further details close to his heart until the show reaches to the floor for production.
Actor Kunal Kumar, an integral member of Gutur Gu cast shared, “Actors always look out for shows with unique formats. I feel blessed to be a part of Gutur Gu again. Silent comedy might look easy on but it is indeed very challenging. I am all the more excited to meet the cast after a long time and have a great time with them.”
SAB TV once enjoyed no. 3 position among Hindi GEC is now facing a stiff competition from all corners due to the growing competition among GECs after the entry of Life OK.
