MUMBAI: Shaddi.com has announced that it has recognised Vivek from Gurugram as the ‘Biggest Green Flag’, The company said that his hilarious replies in the comments section of Shaadi.com’s posts have garnered attention. Vivek is an Instagram user known as @greenflagvivek. The company has presented him with a life-size green coloured flag as a certification. Shaadi.com also changed its bio to “Just a @greenflagvivek fan page”.
This happened after his self-dialogue in Shaadi.com’s Instagram comments began on 20 February, when he expressed his frustration about constantly seeing couple reels on his feed, questioning, “Ye saare couple reels mere hi feed mein kyu aate hai (Why are all these couple reels showing up on my feed?).”
His comment trails revolving around being a green flag while struggling to find the right life partner caught everyone’s attention including Founder of Shaadi.com and Super Shark – Anupam Mittal who joined the banter.

Various meme pages and social media users picked up on Vivek’s commentary. Twitter saw relatable memes and responses to Vivek’s comment trails. Several users also mimicked Vivek’s style and went on to post similar self-dialogue commentary on Shaadi.com’s instagram posts including Shaadi.com.
