Bengaluru: Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based automotive company, has announced the appointments of Jitin Johnson as Head of Marketing and Kevin Thomas as Head of Brand, as part of its efforts to strengthen its nationwide growth strategy. In line with this, the company has also expanded its marketing team to over 40 professionals to drive the next phase of brand and business expansion.
This strategic move underscores Simple Energy’s commitment to accelerating its pan-India footprint, with plans to establish 150 retail stores and 200 service centers across the country by March 2026.
With 14 years of experience in marketing, Jitin Johnson joins Simple Energy after serving as Assistant General Manager – Digital Marketing at River. In his new role, he will lead the company’s omnichannel marketing strategy, encompassing brand development, go-to-market initiatives, digital transformation, and customer engagement.

As Head of Brand, Kevin Thomas brings over 13 years of expertise in Creative Direction and Visual Design. Most recently, he served as Principal Visual Designer at Ultraviolette Automotive, and has previously held leadership positions at global brands such as Amazon, Motorola, and OnePlus, where he drove innovation and creative excellence in design.

With 61 retail outlets already operational across major cities including Bengaluru, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Jaipur, Simple Energy is gearing up to expand into new markets, including Delhi and Patna, furthering its mission to make sustainable mobility mainstream.
