Mumbai: Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced the appointment of Nitin Selot as its new Executive Director – Finance, IT and Legal Affairs, effective 19 February 2026. As the Chief Financial Officer of SAVWIPL, Selot will be responsible for the financial steering of the Group in India.
In his new role, Selot will lead the financial strategy and IT transformation of the Group, joining at a critical phase as SAVWIPL continues to redefine processes and strengthen the foundation of its India operations. The company manages the India operations of six brands – Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche – and operates manufacturing facilities in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

With 35 years of leadership experience across diverse industries, Selot brings expertise in strategic financial planning, regulatory governance and end-to-end financial management. Prior to joining SAVWIPL, he held senior leadership roles at JCB India, Compass Group India, Shell and Mars Wrigley. He holds an A.C.M.A. from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India, an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and an ACS from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
