Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India has restructured its leadership model to bring greater cohesion between content, distribution and monetisation, as the company adapts to an increasingly converged media ecosystem.
As part of this shift, Rajesh Kaul will head a unified revenue engine as Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing ad sales, distribution, sports and international business across linear and digital platforms.
The consolidation is designed to enable a single, integrated monetisation strategy that aligns advertiser solutions, platform partnerships and content offerings. Under Kaul’s leadership, linear ad sales, linear distribution, digital ad sales, YouTube growth, and Sony LIV’s B2B and syndication businesses will operate within a common revenue framework.
The move reflects SPNI’s focus on unlocking greater value from its content ecosystem, while building a future-ready revenue model that responds to changing advertiser and platform dynamics.
