Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt. Ltd. (SPNI) has appointed Sagar Kadam as Associate Vice President – Subscription and Partnership for digital business i.e SonyLIV.
He has joined SPNI on Wednesday, 13th October 2021. In this role he will be responsible to drive and grow the subscription business through partnerships and alliances for SonyLIV.
He joins SPNI from ZEE5 (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited) after a stint of over 2.5 years. At ZEE5, he was Associate Director – Subscription & Strategic Partnerships where he was responsible to drive the subscription revenue and user growth across B2B, B2B2C & B2C channels through strategic alliances & partnerships, partner marketing, content marketing and demand generation.
Before joining ZEE5, he was Associate Director – Business Development at Shemaroo Entertainment where he led the ShemarooMe India (OTT) strategy, launch. After the launch, he was responsible to drive business, partnerships and partner / content marketing for ShemarooMe.
He is a seasoned professional with over 14 years of extensive work experience in Digital Media & Entertainment with diverse roles distinguished by commendable performance. His expertise lies in Business & Revenue Management, Partnerships & Strategic Alliances, Business Development, Content Management, Content & Partner Marketing, Sales & Marketing, Product Management and Client servicing.
