Mumbai: The Tennis Premier League (TPL) powered by Clear Premium Water is set to bring high-octane tennis action to fans across India as Sony Sports Network comes onboard as the official television broadcast partner for Season 7.
The much-awaited season will air live from December 9 to 14, 2025, on Sony Sports Ten 5 and Sony Sports Ten 5 HD channels, directly from the Gujarat University Tennis Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Marking a landmark year for the league, TPL Season 7 will see Top 50 ranked international players competing in an Indian tennis league for the very first time. The global lineup includes Luciano Darderi (World No. 26), Arthur Rinderknech (World No. 28), Corentin Moutet (World No. 31), Alexandre Muller (World No. 43), and Damir Džumhur (World No. 58), alongside India’s tennis icons — Rohan Bopanna, former doubles World No. 1 and two-time Grand Slam champion, and Sahaja Yamalapalli, India’s current No. 1 female tennis player.
Played in TPL’s signature 25-point format, the league has carved its niche as one of India’s premier sporting properties and stands among the only four Indian sports leagues to have successfully reached its seventh season. This year’s tournament will see eight franchises — Rajasthan Rangers, Gurgaon Grand Slammers, Gujarat Panthers, Hyderabad Strikers, GS Delhi Aces, Yash Mumbai Eagles, Chennai Smashers, and SG Pipers Bengaluru — competing for supremacy.
