Mumbai: Sony Sports Network, a destination for premium sports entertainment, is reinforcing its regional connect with the launch of two dedicated regional language sports channels. Starting July 10, 2025, the network will roll out Sony Sports Ten 4 Tamil and Sony Sports Ten 4 Telugu, offering viewers exclusive sports content in their preferred languages.
This strategic move aims to streamline the network’s offerings and provide a distinct, culturally resonant destination for Tamil and Telugu-speaking audiences. With this launch, Sony Sports Network continues its mission to make sports viewing more accessible, immersive, and emotionally engaging for fans across India.
In addition to the launch of the regional channels, Sony Sports Network is also refreshing the identity of its Hindi offerings. Sony Sports Ten 3 (SD) will be rebranded as Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi, and Sony Sports Ten 3 (HD) will become Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi HD. This rebranding highlights the network’s ongoing commitment to providing a high-quality, language-first experience for Hindi-speaking audiences.

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer – Distribution & International Business and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “The launch of Sony Sports Ten 4 Tamil and Sony Sports Ten 4 Telugu is our endeavour to provide localized content on dedicated Tamil and Telugu sports channels that make it easier than ever for fans to enjoy their favourite sporting moments in the language of their choice. This launch is about creating a seamless viewing experience and building a stronger emotional connection with our audiences in the regional markets. We aim to bring premium sports content closer to home and deliver the joy of live sports in a way that feels personal and relevant.”
This announcement comes just ahead of a blockbuster sports calendar, which includes marquee properties such as the India Tour of England, Asia Cup, UFC, UEFA Champions League, and more. With language-tailored channels now in place, Sony Sports Network is set to elevate the fan experience with a more inclusive, localised, and impactful presentation of sports.
