Hyderabad : In a very rarest of the rare occurrence, Maa TV managed to rope in the South Superstar “Rajni Kanth” as the Guest of honour in the concluding episode of Meelo Evaru Kooteswarudu (MEK) which was the hosting debut for Telugu Actor Nagarjuna.
Apparently, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK) has become one that will go down in history of MAA TV for many reasons. One for roping in Actor Nagarjuna to mark his television debut itself, Secondly, the show has brought in interesting personalities to play game show with host Nagarjuna including Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal, Vidya Balan, Charmee Kaur, Amala Akkineni, Manchu Lakshmi, followed by the record ratings the channel has managed to score with a week on week undisturbed upward trend and finally the South Super Star Rajini Kanth and Anuskha’s appearance in the show was the cloud nine moment for the channel.
Even-though, it was not the part of Maa TV’s original plan, it is understood Rajinikanth has been in Hyderabad for the past couple of weeks who is shooting for his upcoming movie Lingaa. As the shooting is progressing at Annapurna Studios, Nagarjuna paid a visit to the sets and asked whether Rajini is free to appear in the show.
Well, Rajini always maintains good relations with everyone in the industry. So without any hesitation, Rajini accepted Nag’s offer and confirmed him that he would be attend the show. Actress Anushka Shetty will also make it to the show along with Rajini
In fact the Super Star’s acceptance came as a surprise for many in the industry as he usually stays away from such kind of television commitments, but for appearing in very few extremely high profile events and award functions only.
The channel is hoping to peak a historical ratings with this concluding episode of MEK with Rajni and Anushka as they hope that the show is expected to attract maximum viewers from across the four southern states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
The show “MEK” has become immensely popular for many such reasons and the TRP ratings for it clocked the record highest. No doubt the makers want to have another series of this successful reality show.
Now, the entire South TV audience are eagerly awaiting the MEK’s last episode with “Thalaiva”
